2. Schools can reopen from November 23 – Maharashtra Government

  • MUMBAI: On Saturday CM Udhav Thackeray allowed schools in the state to reopen classes from IX to XII.
  • The CM organized a meeting of the department to review the standard opening procedures that schools must follow.

    -> All teachers must take RT-PCR test, only those -ve can teach
    -> Classes to be held on alternate days, for upto 4hrs each.
    -> Thermal screening of students is must, daily before class.

6. 13% of rise in Covid cases is due to bad air, says IMA

  • On Saturday, the Indian Medical Association said that 13% of this increase has been estimated to be due to air pollution.
