1. Coordinated efforts will lead to fast recovery: PM Modi

  • On Saturday, PM Narendra Modi said that coordinated efforts by the largest economies of the world will lead to faster recovery for sure, from the Covid-19 pandemic.
  • He also added that they had a very fruitful discussion with great G20 leaders.

2. India warns Pakistan

  • New DELHI: A day after PM Modi said that the security forces had damaged a plot to disrupt the district council elections in J&K.
  • On Saturday Indian government warned Islamabad against using terrorists to stop launching attacks in India and also added that it will take every necessary action against this terrorism to safeguard national security.

3. Laying foundation stones of water projects: PM Modi

  • On Sunday, PM Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stones for rural drinking water supply digitally.
  • Projects worth 5,555 crore in Sonbhadra and Mirzapur districts of UP .
  • After the completion of these projects within 2 years, it will provide piped-water supply to more than 42 lakh people in almost 3000 villages of both districts of the Vindhyachal region.

4. Former Assam Chief Minister Health Worsens

  • Guwahati: Former Assam CM Tarun Gogoi’s health condition worsens with multi-organ failure and he has become unconscious also due to difficulty in breathing, said Assam Health Minister.
  • On November 2 due to post-COVID complications 86-year old veteran Congress politician was on Non Invasive Ventilation since he was admitted at Guwahati Medical College, said Health Minister.

5. Bharti Singh get arrested in drugs case :NCB

  • MUMBAI: On Saturday, Narcotic Control Bureau (NCB) arrested both comedian Bharti Singh and her husband Harsh Limbachiyaa for possession of 86.5 grams of Cannabis.
  • Both husband and wife have been arrested under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance and they are likely to be taken to the court on Sunday.

6. Punjab train services to resume from November 23

  • NEW DELHI: The Punjab farmers who were protesting against 3 new farm laws have finally allowed to restart the rail services from November 23.
  • Farmers unions said they are allowing to restart only for 15 days within that period the central government should hold talks, they also added that the protests will restart if the government failed to resolve the issue.

7. Nominations for local body polls crosses 1.5 lakh: Kerala

  • Number of nominations for local body elections have reached more than 1.5 lakh in Kerala.
  • According to the latest data from the election commision 1,52,292 nominations have been received till now.
  • On November 12, filing of nominations was started. Examining of nominations was held on friday and last day of withdrawal of nomination is November 23.
