1. 200-metre tunnel used to sneak into India

3. Sudden rise in Covid-19 cases: Maharashtra

  • Maharashtra state government has warned of a lockdown as Covid-19 cases start rising rapidly.
  • This pandemic has been brought under control in Maharashtra due to the cordination and discipline of the citizens, CM Uddhav Thackeray said on Sunday.
  • He also warned that if people wont continue to follow these safety measures, it could bring a second wave of pandemic in the state like tsunami. Earlier new cases was rising everyday in a range of 3000 while now it’s in a range of 5000.

4. Universities and colleges to reopen from today: UP

  • In Uttar Pradesh universities and degree colleges will reopen from today with 50% students and also can attend class in any enclosed area at any given time.
  • Teaching will be remain suspended till November 25 because of centenary celebrations as teachers are engaged in many responsibilities, said LU spokesman Durgesh Srivastava.

5. J&K Elections 2020

The union territory of J&K will have its 1st direct elections, the District Development Council (DDC) polls, in 8 phases which is starting on November 28. Local body elections in the other union territory, Ladakh which came into existence after the bifurcation of the state of J&K were held in October month.
